So yeah, after Legend of Korra i got really excited and drew myself as a waterbender from Republic City. I’m drawing me and my friends as like a “police” force since vigilantes are apparently not very welcome in Republic City. I have like a “cop” outfit with two gun holsters but instead of guns I just store water there. Woo! I’m drawing some more friends as benders as well! Woo!

I really love your waterbender, not to mention I love the clothing you've designed for him! I'm so envious, I want to make a male waterbender, but I'm terrible at drawing male hair.

I'm torn between water and fire bending actually-- even though the online test I took said I was closer to an airbender, ha ha!

I already know some taichi and I love that water is both offensive and defensive. And the whole concept of both waterbending and taichi is using the opponents power against them which is all me since I have no physical strength whatsoever. So that was super appealing for me.

The more I think about it, the more appealing water is to me; firebending just doesn't seem as versatile; it's mostly offensive and can be highly dangerous and destructive towards the user if they aren't controlled.

And taichi, huh? That's cool stuff! I myself have only dabbled in yoga, ha ha-- but you can hardly use that to fight (I mean, maybe you could temporarily confuse your opponent...)
